Nice place, but I paid for a 2 Queen bedroom. They were full, so they gave me 1 King for 5 of us. They said sorry thats all they had. I paid for a larger room, but had to settle.

The Hyatt hotels are a favorite of my wife and I. They’re always clean and spacious. This one in Anchorage is pretty centrally located, making a breeze to travel about the city. The downstairs cafe was good too!

My family did a staycation at this hotel specifically for the pool use. The pool was so chlorinated burning our eyes within 10 min there was clumps of hair and dirt all over the floor surrounding the pool. The hot tub had brow/pink/tan crud floating on top of the bubbles throughout the entire hot tub. There were no pool towels available. The room was gross with pink/red stains on the floor and brown stains on the couch. The pull out bed was covered in dust and dirt, our bed spread and sheets had lots of hair other peoples hair in and on them. The bathtub had not been cleaned and the soap container holders were empty (advertised as having them) with buildup layering the bottom of them. The wall paper on 2 walls in the bathroom was bunched up and peeling off. The ceiling in the hallway was falling apart, numerous routes and gashes in the hall way walls & broken door frames. They had three rooms next to us that was full of people partying with their doors open until 4 am. There was no coffee available until 3am and they promptly made it disappear at 10am. The trash can outside the front door was overflowing all over the sidewalk and 3 homeless vagrants gathered around it picking through it and harassing guests going inside. This hotels only saving grace was the wonderful woman that checked us in and the waitress and cook staff in the restaurant. The night clerk was completely unhelpful.

Was a nice hotel but will be run down quickly. Front desk lady had her kids running around there and boyfriend laying on the couch all day. Needs to be managed better or will be a dump soon.

I had booked a 2 queen bed room, but was told at check in that they had over booked due to a software issue. I was told that I would get a discount but have not received any. Hotel staff says they refunded Orbitz. I would like that refunded back to me.

The room had a pullout sofabed which made it very nice for traveling with 3 kids. The room was nice. I noticed later after we settled in and had already gone to the pool that the room had not been cleaned completely. There was garage in the can, hair in the shower drain, and something spilled on the bedside table. It was late and we had already been there so long we decided just to stay there and not ask them to move us. The staff were lovely, especially at the breakfast service. We enjoyed the food and it was well supplied even late in the breakfast service window. On our final day there were not any pool towels available. When I requested some at the front desk they offered to bring some to our room but I already had wet kids in the pool that I didn’t want to leave alone. We dripped through the hallways back to our room.
