Not normally the kind of place I would stay, but I wanted to stay fairly close to our son who is stationed at JBER. The yard is big and lovely. The house is obviously not decorated by a designer as pretty much nothing matches. One of the bedrooms has white curtains which does nothing to block sun in the summer. The kitchen had an amazing refrigerator. Even though the add indicated an iron/ironing board, there was definitely not an iron. I went and bought one and left it. For your awareness, there are no doors on the closets, which is not a deal breaker, but weird in my opinion. Some of the doors were leaning up in the closet. The neighborhood is rather sketchy but so is most of Anchorage. The apartment next to empty lot actually had a bunk bed frame sitting in the yard and another neighbor had a soft chair sitting out at the curb. There were no screens on the windows which made me not want to open them for fresh air. I was afraid bug would get in. The main bedroom had the biggest TV I have ever seen hanging on the wall. For those that would like a hair dryer, there is not one in this property. For me personally, I would not stay here again.
