Massimo and Bruna made our stay comfortable, delightful, and memorable. They made sure we didn't miss a thing on the island. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and with once in a lifetime views of the sea. We can't stop talking about what a wonderful time we had in Capri, including Il Rifugio as our home base.

Whilst the hosts were kind, the location of the property is very inconvenient to get anywhere. It’s a 15 to 20 minute walk to Anacapri, half of which is down a dangerous road. Whilst there is a bus stop opposite, the buses are unreliable and you would have to take 2 buses to get anywhere but Anacapri and the buses are crowded, so the bus stop opposite is not helpful. The accommodation itself is clean but very basic. And the breakfast is just processed foods in wrappers such as croissant in a wrapper, and only 1 or 2 small slices of bread. I.e. no warm breakfast, such as eggs, which is what was expected. Very basic accommodation and I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

`Il Rifugio B&B'' is the best choice for accommodation on Capri. Beautiful house and yard in a quiet part of the island. Very clean. The view from our apartment was amazing. You will have the opportunity to see the unforgettable sunset. What made our vacation better were the hosts. Wonderful people. We felt like we were visiting relatives. I strongly recommend booking this accommodation and meeting the hosts, Bruna and Massimo. You won't regret it.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. Our large room had amazing views of the ocean and our attached balcony had an even better view. We would sit outside and watch the sunset every night. Our hosts were kind, helpful and offered us a great breakfast each morning. The walk into town can be a bit far, but there are bus stops nearby which can take you in. It was quiet and secluded but also felt like home and comfortable. The house itself was big and beautiful and the overall property/garden was beautiful as well.

The owners have been very kind and helpful from the minute we arrived at the "Il Rifugio". The B&B has a very private and familiar atmosphere and is very old and beautiful as well as very clean. The view from our apartment was amazing. The Owners were happy to give us tips and to-dos for our stay on Capri and know the island very well. We loved our time at the "Il Rifugio" and definitely recommend choosing it as you stay on your vacation :)
