DO NOT BOOK! Please do not make the same mistake as I did. I read the bad reviews and I did not think it is going to be so bad. The hotel is stuck into 60’s. The state of the hotel is deplorable: cleaning is very poor, rooms are shabby and dirty and with appliances not working or a hazard of coming off the walls. Staff attitude is awful. It is going to spoil your holiday. The only good thing about the hotel that I can mention is the location, a beautiful spot in Anacapri. So please do not make the same mistake as I did and book elsewhere.

charmantes Hotel in Toplage. Tolle Aussicht vom Frühstücksraum. Frühstück war ok, aber nichts besonderes. Mein Komfortdoppelzimmer war recht klein und sehr einfach, aber irgendwie charmant. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Das Personal war zukommend und hilfsbereit. Leider fährt der Hotelshuttle zum Fährhafen nur tagsüber, und nicht abends, wenn Leute an/und abreisen. Taxi kostet ca €25. Das Hotel ist auch mit Bus sehr gut zu erreichen, allerdings sind die Busse oft überfüllt, was man bedenken sollte, wenn man Gepäck hat. In Anbetracht der stolzen Hotelpreise auf Capri war das Angebot im San Michele sehr gut, und die Lage des Hotels ist wie gesagt ideal, um die Insel zu erkunden.

Ihana Capri!

Hotelli oli kaikin puolin miellyttävä elämys: sijainti kauniilla paikalla, upea näköala, tilava siisti huone, ystävällinen palvelu. Anacaprin keskus oli kävelymatkan päässä, ja sieltä oli hyvät bussiyhteydet muualle Caprilla. Saarelle tullessa emme huomanneet, että hotellille olisi ollut oma kuljetus, vaan kapusimme matkalaukkuinemme loputtoman tuntuisen matkan alhaalta satamasta ylhäälle hotellille. Elämys sekin omalla tavallaan, mutta suosittelen hotellin kuljetuksen tai julkisen bussin käyttämistä. Vaikka matka on kartalla lyhyt, se on pelkkää portaita nousemista ja ainakin matkalaukkujen kanssa aikamoinen urheilusuoritus :)
