The of the facility gives the impression that the city and canals are in front of the hotel, which is not true. I wasn't prepared to take a Tram to the city.

Good transport links, easy to get to the centre or other parts of the city. Room cleaned every day, hoovered, bed made and fresh towels. Not been dusted in a while, we were sneezing a lot in our room, we looked around and the bedside tables and the items on them had a considerable amount of dust on them. Other than this was good.

The staff started out nice but became rude over our stay. We asked for a simple cup of coffee and was told only thru the vending machine. Asked for broken toilet to be fixed, it wasn't, no wifi/ internet connection couldnt even watch TV in the room AND they wanted us to share a fridge....but NO free coffee unless we paid. Rip Off. HORRIBLE PLACE

The hotel is lovely, great place to stay at a great price. It is however a 25 minute tram ride outside of Amsterdam city centre. The tram system is very easy to use and, if there for multiple days, a multi-day ticket is well worth the money. Hence, I wouldn’t let the location put you off if wanting a cheap hotel, but it can be slightly inconvenient. Overall great hotel, very friendly staff and would go back.

I loved the breakfast and the price. The hotel is wonderful, however, is far from the center and touristic areas. To reach the hotel by public transportation is very complicated considering that I arrived from abroad. Taxis are very expensive and don’t stop on the street with a hand signal, you have to call by phone. Cheap taxi could be Uber but if you haven’t an account isn’t worth it. The staff in the hotel are really nice and polite. The hotel Should send instructions of how to arrive from airport, metro of Tram since is really hard to get here from public transportation. I got lost the first day
