OK for a bed but that's about it. The stay was nothing short of a nightmare. If you book make sure you know of restaurants in the city as we were unable to eat dinner at the hotel due to outside reservations. We chose this hotel because of the location in the city, the amenities and the dining options. This hotel was great for the first hour, it looks very grand and the front desk staff are courteous. After booking in we went to our spacious King room and bathroom, as we flown in quite late I wanted to take a shower and have dinner. The shower didn't drain well and the hotel did not resolve the issue in our 5 days there. I made my way down to the main dining room and was turned away due to bookings. I was advised that I was required to do this via the phone in my room. When calling customer services I was told that I could book for 8:30pm the following day, which I was unable to accept due to plans, or next week as they were fully booked until then. Obviously I was dissatisfied but just needed food, I then ordered room service. This was delivered by a guy who announced he was the person I spoke to in customer services. He proceeded to tell me its our fault for not making arrangements for dinner and "he could not let down people with bookings for hotel guests". We ordered room service on another occasion, delivered by the same guy, again looking to cause an argument and tell us that the dinning room issue is ours and we should have been prepared.

Lovely ambience and equally professional personnel

Location: close to the city / downtown
Loved the food at the restaurants and their hospitality is fantastic in every way. Every evening ( 6 evenings that is stayed?) a professional pianist, Nona, plays classic songs / compositions which gives a great sense of relaxation. This was most enjoyable (if you like music) and I looked forward to it.

Good hotel but the service is poor

Nice location very clean and comfortable. The service was poor and staff need better training. For a five star hotel and the price they have to do better.

Bon hotel - manque de professionalisme

Pros: Taille de la chambre, propreté, qualité de la literie
Cons: Service à la réception (voir histoire de mon passeport oublié)
Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cet hôtel mais eu une expérience négative à la fin du séjour. Nous devions rester jusqu'au 10 mars mais nous avons dû quitter le 9 mars. Ce même jour, nous avons fait le check-out à 12h30 et sommes partis. Le soir même, à minuit, nous sommes arrivés à l'aéroport pour notre voyage de retour chez nous et je me suis rendue compte d'avoir oublié mon passeport. J'ai appelé l'hôtel qui finalement dit l'avoir trouvé dans le coffre-fort de la chambre. Ils ont affirmé m'avoir envoyé un e-mail vers 18h et m'informant avoir trouvé mon passeport. Je n'ai jamais reçu ce message. Ils ont gentillement accepté de donner le passeport à un chauffeur de taxi pour qui me l'apporte à l'aéroport mais ils n'ont pas pris en charge les frais. Je pense qu'un hôtel de cette catégorie, quand le personnel trouve un document important comme un passeport devrait agir de manière plus professionnelle et contacter le client au plus vite.
