Dock Tarn Lodge near Ambleside, is a wonderful south-facing lodge situated towards the top end of an established woodland estate where sightings of red squirrels, roe deer and an abundance of birdlife are common.
The spacious open-plan lodge offers two bedrooms, a double and a twin, both with built-in cupboards and electric wall-mounted heaters. The living area, with sofas, leads to the L-shaped kitchen, which is well-equipped with plenty of storage, and the dining table. Patio doors from the living area open onto the welcoming patio area and outside furniture.
Outside, the garden area is enclosed with wooden fencing, ideal for dogs. The estate itself is family-friendly and there are a number of walks leading directly from the Estate including Loughrigg Fell and Loughrigg Tarn, Elterwater, Skelwith Bridge and more if you head up into the Langdale Valley.

Things To Note
Dock Tarn Lodge is accessed from the parking space via 5 steps with an additional step into the property.
Pool facilities are available from the start of March to the end of October.
Free parking for up to one car adjacent to the lodge with additional free parking at the top of the estate.
EV Car Charging is not permitted.
Please note: As of September 2024, the twin bedroom has been changed to a bunk bed comprising a three/quarter double below and a single above. The single is suitable for an adult. The photos will be updated soon.
