This is a unique, "Texan" place to stay. We stayed 2 nights and thought it was fun. Had everything we needed. Nice hot shower and we liked the firm beds. Loved walking to The Big Texan restaurant. Just a 3 min ride to the Bug Ranch. It was maybe 20 min to WTAMU and about 30 min to Palo Duro Canyon.

Love the Location and convenience being right across from the big Texan. We traveled with our dogs and the dogs park in the middle of the lot was perfect. Definitely will put this on our list places to visit.

Tvis is a SUPER cute property on historic route 66 in Texas. I honestly thought it would be cheesy, because it is in a "tourist trap" location. It was beautifully decorated, the room was well equipped and it was perfectly located for travel.

The Big Texan is a stop you cannot pass up if you are staying in Amarillo. One of the best steaks I've had with great service and sometimes you get to see someone attempting the 72oz challenge. The hotel is a great option if you are passing through.

The beds weren’t comfortable. I was there for a week. It was an average motel. Basic. The bathroom was dirty, the sink smelled and when I lifted out the drain I immediately wanted to vomit. The water pressure was the only good thing. The floors weren’t clean, I got there took off my shoes and walked around room in my socks…I shouldn’t have, I should have just kept my shoes on. I ended up checking out after a week and moving to another hotel, as I am working in the area for two months.
