I loved the country charm of the building design and interior decor. The yard surrounding the property was beautifully manicured. There was plenty of greenspace for our dog and 2 potty stations. Much appreciated!

We stay here every time we come through Amarillo because of how much we love this place. They are always welcoming, the breakfast isn’t bad, they are animal friendly; which is a really big deal to us and the rooms are really nice. The beds are always comfortable, so we always get a great nights sleep. I highly recommend this hotel!

Very Disappointed in Amarillo
We had 2 rooms - 202 & 204. We had trouble accessing 202 but went down to the front desk and she came up and was finally able to get it open - grandson stayed in this room. Room 204 is the one hubby and I stayed in. It was a little warm when we got in the room so I kicked the temp down. Hubby was hungry so we went and ate and came back to the room - still not cool. Called front desk and they sent a maintenance guy up. He said it wasn’t working. Called front desk again to see if we could be moved - they’re fully booked. I said so we have to stay here in this hot room? She was going to contact manager. I was told twice last night the manager would be contacted. This morning at checkout I told the lady my story and requested a refund of the one room. We bought a fan and room thermometer. The temp on the a/c was turned down to 61 but the room thermometer was almost 80. My husband has COPD and has a hard time breathing when it’s warm. As of now I’ve not been contacted by the manager so this issue can be resolved.

To start ...the day I was arriving I call them to let them know I was arriving late. The lady on the other side on the phone was so rude and did care to ask even what time just said "we are open and there's someone always there" I hung up and immediately felt this red flag. The receptionist had already cancelled my reservation and told me I no longer had a room because it was a no show. I was tired and needed to just rest. The lady said she was new and didn't know how to get me that same room I had already paid for. After a while she took my card and said that I was going to be charge again another fee for the new room at that point I didn't care much just need to rest. No apologies just took my card and processed my new room. The next following day I came to reception and explained my situation and the lady just didn't care. No apologies or anything the only thing she off was checking out late like extra 30min. When I checked out the lady was rude and asked for my card keys and checked me out did say nothing not even a smile. Will never come to this place again!
