The Space:
Nestled within the enchanting grounds of the luxurious Cameron House, South Lodge boasts an irresistible blend of modern conveniences and charming historical traits. Originally constructed in 1882 as a private residence, this beautifully restored property harmoniously combines its historic character with contemporary comfort. The spacious open-plan lounge and kitchen, featuring a large island, invite gatherings and shared meals, while the log-burning fire adds a cozy touch. Accommodating up to eight guests, the lodge offers four elegantly furnished bedrooms, each adorned with hotel-quality linen, plush robes, and towels. These versatile rooms can be configured as twin or double accommodations, making them ideal for guests with varying preferences. Additionally, there are two pull-out single beds available upon request, ensuring enough space for everyone. We have three private parking spaces at the back of the house.

The loch is only a few minutes walk away! Loch Lomond Shore, The Boat House and The Cameron House Hotel are all within walking distance. Our house manual which we send to all of our guests contains our recommendations on where to eat and activities to try. The centre of Balloch is also within walking distance. Here you will find the largest supermarket in the vicinity, bars, a post office and much more.

Only a 14 min walk from Balloch train station or a 25 min drive from Glasgow Airport this truly is the Highlands on your doorstep.

Other Things to Note:
We can arrange rental of a high chair and a travel cot if needed during your stay
