Seahorse Studio is a one bedroom, accessible ground floor studio apartment designed with fantastic taste and functionality - super bright and extremely comfortable. Although only a studio, it feels spacious and elegant and is perfect for a couple or individual looking for a short stay or holiday in the popular seaside town of Aldeburgh. The Studio is located just a street away from the beach and is a short stroll to the main high-street.

The open-plan studio space has a lovely dining area, a sideboard with crockery and cutlery, a large smart TV and a cosy sofa as well as a very comfortable electric reclining chair and side tables.

A plywood room divider creates a cosy sleeping area with a lovely king-size electric bed, with wonderful white crisp bedding and a superb mattress. The bed can be made up as two singles or a king, providing this is requested at the time of booking.

The studio has wonderful lined linen curtains for comfort and privacy and there is plenty of clever lighting in the space as well as ample plug sockets with USB chargers. The space is heated by radio controlled integrated infrared heating panels,

There is a brilliant VITSOE shelf unit with an integrated desk, to work or to do your make-up in the bedroom space. Please find a hairdryer in the walk in wardrobe.

The space has been designed to be fully wheelchair-friendly and has a well-equipped kitchen designed to get a wheelchair under the kitchen/sink counter. The combi micro /oven and fridge are at a convenient height for wheelchair users. The larder cupboard has a pull-down storage system for easy access.

The bathroom is fully accessible, with grab bars, a low handbasin and a step free shower. There is a spacious wall cupboard in the bathroom to store your wash bag and plenty of hooks for towels and dressing gowns etc.

The walk-in wardrobe has a pull down hanging rail and plenty of open storage shelves for all your wardrobe, a full length mirror and a hairdryer. Seahorse Studio is designed throughout with fantastic art, books and stylish lighting.

Ideally located on the ground floor with a ramp from the street, the studio has two public disabled car parking spaces right outside, and a metal ramp leading into the ground floor Studio.

There is a small planted patio space outside the studio, with table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or a drink. There is space to park a wheelchair or scooter and an electric charging point.

The pavement outside 7 Crabbe Street is lowered on both sides of the road, so it is easy to cross the road to the seafront with a walker or wheelchair.

Cutlery drawer smells musty, has cutlery been put away wet. The accessibility is limited, the toilet is difficult for a wheelchair user and can only be reached in a small wheelchair, similar problem with the shower. I use a standard manual wheelchair and I struggled.

This property has been very carefully designed to suit anyone with a disability. It is suitably located near to the sea front , restaurants & shops but is in a quiet location. It has a disabled car parking bay on the road outside & other free parking nearby.I enjoyed my stay there & will certainly return.

Two night break.
I am disabled and this was a thoroughly convenient premises well laid out for wheelchair/scooter. Everything worked well including the electric armchair which was similar to the one I have here. One suggestion would be for another grab rail on the wall to the left of the loo cistern and also clear instructions on use of microwave … we are both over 70 and gadget adverse !? Overall very well done
