Very cute, colorful, immaculate, recently renovated rooms. Friendly staff. The café across the driveway was great with hip little food truck style booths and a bar.

Not a bad location but sketchy after dark. No elevator so if you are on the second floor be prepared to carry your stuff up two flights of stairs. Friendly staff. Bed was comfortable.

This property has been remodeled and is adorable. In addition, I liked the pool, restaurant, bar, and coffee shop. This is not what I expected for a stand alone motel, but we will definitely stay here again!

Me & my friend stayed her one night for the balloon festival, we were both impressed with this updated, vintage type motel! The rooms were very nicely decorated, very clean, & the beds were super comfy! We would definitely stay here again!!!

I loved my stay at the Imperial! I work for Expedia and stay in many hotels for work, and I truly enjoyed staying here. From check in to check out, the staff was so friendly, helpful, and hospitable. The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms are very cute and modern. The bed is very comfortable and I slept great which is unusual for a hotel. The food hall and bar were also great. I found myself being a 'bar fly' each night of my trip, grabbing a burger at Latin Flavor and then enjoying happy hour at the bar. The bartender, Maxx, is the best!!!! She made a mean Old Fashion and margarita for happy hour and is so friendly. I always felt like I was chatting with an old friend! On Thursdays they have karaoke which had the bar feeling very lively and fun even though I was traveling solo. I've stayed at El Vado and The Monterrey which are owned by the same hotel group, but The Imperial is now at the top of my list for future visits to Albuquerque. Don't let the older reviews dissuade you from staying here -- The Imperial is a gem!
