Please don't call yourself a Garden hotel if there is no garden or hardly any plants. Please have bottled water in each room even if we are not "members." I asked the desk host if they could turn on tv in lobby later to the World Series and the person didn't seem willing or was reluctant or wasn't trained on how to respond, etc. Room decor boring! Sorry, but I couldn't even tell I was in beautiful NM. Nice coffee set up in lobby in the a.m.

My only issues with this stay were as follows: upon arrival, at check in, I was advised that the King room I reserved more than a month prior had been switched to a two Queen room due to “over booking for Balloon Fiesta”. When I spoke up about this and stated my partner and I would not fit on a Queen bed, the gentleman at the front desk seemed bothered that I was upset. He eventually gave me the King that I had reserved, but no apologies were offered. I also was informed by him that I could not use my AAA discount or my Hilton Rewards, as I had booked on Expedia, and not with the hotel directly, which I did not understand.

The property was convient for attending the hot air balloon festival. The hotel representatives were great. The bathroom wasn't as clean as i would have liked and the pillow case on the bed seemed to have dark spots on it. Went to Walmart to get cleaning supplies and sheets. Notified front desk of pronlem with bathroom. Next day bathroom was cleaned but the housekeeper wouldn't make our bed during our stay. The hotel did offer free breakfast or snacks. I declined. I don't want to clean on my vacation. I won't be staying there again.

I got a room on the opposite side from the highway. It was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the AC wasn't too loud. The room was large. However, incredibly a chair wasn't provided for the desk. When I checked in the surly staff member asked for an additional $50 deposit for incidentals such as property damage that might happen from parties. I'm a 62 year old retired man that was alone. The rate for the room was already very high compared to the nearby competition. I thought that was an outrageous way for Hilton to increase the amount of cash on hand to boost their profits from interest. So much for being a Hilton Honors member. The front entrance is a fire lane. There wasn't anywhere to park near the entrance to check in. I had to park in the back of the building and walk back around to the front to check in. There was a huge fan in the lobby blowing loudly across the room. It seemed to be there to dissipate the chlorine smell and moisture coming from the swimming pool located behind a glass wall at the back of the lobby. An odd location for the pool.
