Position to centre was exvellent, away from very lively areas but easy 10min walk along scenic walkway. Views from sea facing rooms are lovely. However our room No4 was along side a public jetty affording poor privacy from busy passers by. Bathroom had bouts of unpleasant drain smells which perculated into the bedroom though staff cleaning attendance was daily. I would prefere a higher room even no lift facility. Room facilities were what we paid for and expected but being diabetic the included fridge for my insulin was very welcome. Would go there again but to a higher floor room.

A LITTLE GEM IN ALBUFERIA

Pros: Loved the Location and the Seaview room. Also the balcony was fabulous

Location: It is 5 min walk to the Old Town, right beside the lift to the beach and a 5 min walk from the marina from where you can take all types of boat trips!

We stayed in the Frentomar from the 6th to the 14th of October this year and we couldn't have picked a better spot! This hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Old Town along a pretty flat and quite beautiful promenade! We stayed in room 206, it has a fabulous balcony with amazing views over the beach and the bay! There are quite a few little restaurants within touching distance of the Hotel, including an Indian right across the road. There is a patisserie within a 3 minute walk which is worth a visit, in fact we bought our breakfast most mornings there! A big shout out to the owner Bruno who helped us so much when I unfortunately took ill. He made me an appointment with the doctor, booked the taxi and looked after us so well. Thank-you for all your help Bruno! We will most definitely be returning to the Frentomar and would highly recommend it! Ps. It is well worth paying the extra for a room with a Sea View.. Beautiful boutique bed and breakfast in old town

Location: Lots of lovely restaurants and lovely fish restaurant if you turn left out of hotel and it's on the corner or right into old town for bars shops etc

Lovely B and B family run- accommodation and room was modern and extremely comfortable beds, spotlessly clean - our room had a Juliet balcony overlooking the lovely little quaint street at the front -complete with air con if required at no extra cost - we also left our bags in reception as the room wasn't ready when we arrived early and also left bags on the last day as we had a late flight without a problem. Such a convenient location - no pool but you're only a minutes walk from the beach - very close to lift - will definitely come back!! Very close to barhon cafe for Portuguese pastries and a good walk to my favourite beach bar Rei dos mares!

Positiv: nur die Aussicht und die Lage direkt am Meer. Ausserdem hat es einen Kühlschrank in den Zimmern. Negativ: Es ist verständlich, dass man für diesen Preis keinen Luxus erwarten kann. Leider gab es aber diverse Mängel, die trotz günstigem Preis inakzeptabel sind. -zu kleines Bett für ein Doppelzimmer -Sauberkeit, unter dem Bett wurde ziemlich sicher während der ganzen Woche nie geputzt, der Aschenbecher wirde nicht täglich geleert,Badewanne zum Teil schmutzig -Dusche war eine Katastrophe,kaum Wasserdruck vorhanden, das Wasser war zwischendurch kalt, obwohl heiss eingestellt -Es ist extrem hellhörig -meine Schwiegermutter hat schmutzige, nasse Badetücher (auf einem Haufen) in die Badewanne gelegt, damit sie ausgetauscht werden.Sie wurden nicht ausgetauscht, sondern einfach zum trocknen auf dem Balkon aufgehängt -die einen Zimmer haben einen Zahlentresor andere sind mit Schlüssel. Bei denen muss 20 Euro als Depot bezahlt werden -keine richige Decke vorhanden, nur ein dünnes Leintuch - das Personal ist sehr unfreundlich.Beim Checkout teilte meine Schwiegermutter dem Rezeptionisten mit,dass Schmuck aus dem Zimmer verschwunden ist.Sie wurde nicht ernst genommen und man sagte, dass das nicht sein kann. Wir wurden nicht einmal gefragt, ob wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt hatten. -Einen Tag vor der Ankunft wurden wir gefragt, wann wir dort sein werden. Wir teilten mit, zwischen 14.00 und 15.00. Dann standen wir vor verschlossenen Türen und ein Zimmer war noch nicht fertig.

Petit hôtel typique , cela change des usines à touristes d’albufeira… Établissement très propre, personnel au top . Vue mer imprenable… Génial, génial, génial 👍
