Walls too thin. I was on the first floor, at eye level with card in the lot btw, and I could hear the guest in the room above literally peeing in the toilet. The guest was clearly a man. It was loud, as if hitting the water from a distance. Then I heard a flush. Bad food, bad decor. The TV reception was poor. Bad location. Over priced for what it is. Staff watched me struggle with my bags, no offer to help.

The breakfast was delightful! Many options. Much more than normal hotel included breakfasts. They also get kudos for sustainability. Real plates, metal cutlery, and cloth napkins. No styrofoam. Yay!

Excellent Hotel with Great Character!
Very cool hotel. Excellent restaurant and bar. Great staff. Good food. Check in was easy. The hot towel was a nice touch. I am here for business next week and came in early. I just wanted to explore the Albany area and then head up to Saratoga Springs and Lake George. I’m very impressed with this boutique hotel. I did not know it was part of a building that had been here since before the 1800s. I would highly recommend it.

The Ceuntry House hotel exceeded my expectations. The parking lot had a lot of space to park. The rooms were similar to pictures online where they fit the theme of it being century but a slight renovated to make you feel still from this day and age. The beds were super comfortable. Staff was extremely caring and friendly. The best part of it all was the DELICIOUS BREAKFAST. Never had a breakfast like this in a hotel in my entire life. They greet you with so much energy and joy and love especially this one lady who has been working there for over 10 years and truly made my stay much more enjoyable. This is now my go to spot when coming to stay close to Saratoga!

The Century House was fine but nothing special. Rooms are roomy, lots of easy parking, and not far from airport. Downside is pillows are lumpy, bathroom needed a good clean, and everything just seemed dated. I would not choose to stay here again.
