Gambling on the La Quinta
Stayed at the La Quinta in Macedonia, Ohio, because it was close to where we were headed for the evening. We were only there for a quick overnight, and there were no issues during our stay.

Room and walkway had a terrible odor. Front desk was not helpful. We were stuck at the casino couldn’t get an Uber back to the hotel so I called the front desk after trying to locate on Google. A taxi near us was unsuccessful. Called the front desk to ask if they can at least give me a taxi that’s local and she couldn’t help me

My 18 yo son is traveling across country- returning home from college for winter break. Policy says must be 18 to check in( most hotels are 21). He was denied check in because he didn’t have a guardian with him. It was 15 degrees and late at night. Horrible and dangerous situation. They should have honored the policy stated on the website

The staff here is top notch! They were helpful and polite. The hotel is very clean and they decorated it so nicely for the holidays. The breakfast could use work, but it was adequate and did the trick.

Couldn’t bring my daughters to the pool or hot tub at any point in the evening because of the unruly young ladies, of the night? Who stayed camped out and my wife was not comfortable taking the stair because of the people roaming them and to top it off not only did I pay for the room on Expedia but the hotel charged my card for the stay as well. And one last gripe the sheets on the pull out were not acceptable but what are you to do when it sounds and feels like a zoo outside the room just lock it and wait for the sun to rise while my wife and children all cuddled together on one bed with out own linen. Definitely not the place I read reviews about.

Unclean, poor service
The room carpet was not clean, and even better, the blanket on of the beds was soiled. When we called into report, there was no courtesy apology, instead they asked us to come down to the front desk to collect a replacement The breakfast was minimal with very limited option. Definitely not recommended!

It was beyond disgusting. Hair all over, floors not cleaned, garbage behind everything. My son constantly picking up other people’s things and handing to me. I would never stay in another one again. They’re lucky I don’t dispute my charge and take my money back

The hotel bathroom was in a bad condition. Wall paint and flooring was chirping. The shower curtain had yellow stains. We spent $96 and we were promised online that room can sleep 5 people. However beds were small and it can barely fit 4 people. The cashier was very rude. The basin drainage was open. I will never recommend anyone to stay there. I will for sure not going back to the this chain of hotel.
