Musty old house in a great location
We stayed here for a few nights in August of 2024 and while we loved the area, the house left a lot to be desired. While we expected a typical mountain house, this one had a funky smell that will stay with us for years. Besides the musty smell common in houses like these there was a very foul odor in the kitchen that was either rotten food or something dead beneath the floor boards. The 3 bedrooms were tiny, which was fine, but they each had barn doors which made privacy difficult. As a jumping off point to Schroon lake or hiking,the ADK, the location was very ideal..we spent most of our time outdoors which is how you should experience the mountains and the only way to enjoy this house. .

Cozy Adirondack cabin.
Peaceful place in the pines. I loved the porch, my favorite place to relax. Will stay again. Extremely clean. Well appointed. Highly recommended.
