Room was a size of the shoe box Window seal is missing so when windy window is rattling all the time. We end up putting tissue papers around to minimise rattling. Ceiling above bed is broken and hanging down. Lights in the bathroom need at least 5-7 min to start working once when turned on. Facility kitchen was next door to our room as well as all overflowing rubbish bins. When kitchen staff start working 6am it was noisy and being on holiday it is annoying. Gaps around front door are large enough for any crawly creature to crawl under the door especially with rubish bind so close. This review is about room 10. Can’t comment on any other rooms.

The property is old and tired, but you get what you pay for. Having my knees hard up against the opposite wall when on the dunny was particularly disconcerting. I’m only 5 foot 4, so if you’re a taller person maybe give this place a miss.

It was very dated and period style, smelt a little bit musty in the room and the fragrances used were very off-putting. A better fragrance is recommended otherwise good value

It’s an older style motel/hotel/lodge to stay at. Quaint. The carpets probably need stretching in the bedroom to stop trip hazards and the mattress on the bed I slept in has no coil left in the springs. Very uncomfortable Value for money if your looking for somewhere nice and close to amenities though

Great old building that's been converted into a hotel. Breakfast was basic, but nice. The furnishings are on the older side, but it was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to an area with shops and restaurants. Would stay again.

Good choice for budget traveller

During our stay there is no hot water but aparta from that basically the hotel meets our demand as the price is reasoanable and not far away from the city. Simple breakfast is also a plus.

The room was old and tied. Broken bathroom window which couldn't be closed and let cold air into the room. Broken window blind cord. Small TV screen with free to air only.

Understandably, it is a three star but, there’s no need to be under that for cleaning and removing unsightly items. The rooms at the rear of the premise was the old stable at the turn of the century with its set out of more suited as frat house arrangement and is in need of repair such carpet, grey mould on the ceiling above the shower and along the row of windows. Didn’t sleep all that well. Thinking being at the back of the main rooms would be far more quiet but remembering you have airport jets flying directly over the premises up until 11:30 and starts again 5am. There are several premises around the area for a far more decent price a choice of 2 rooms. Again, basic accommodation and if they did some general maintenance such as the driveway to the rear, freshened up regularly and cleaned It may get a higher rating.
