Lovely hideaway in Caleta. Beautifully renovated design hotel with the 50s vibe. Amazing tropical views. Great pool side restaurant. Convenient connection with Acapulco downtown. We had a great time starting the 2020 here :) The staff helped us to arrange a private driver/tour guide to show around Acapulco. Many thanks for having us and hope to be back :)

Old and extremely shabby !
This hotel is old, very old and in very poor condition. First thing you notice is the area, it maybe the worst area in Acapulco and felt very dangerous. The lobby has a low ceiling and is dark so not very welcoming. The elevator is extremely slow and there's only 3 floors. The room is small with a TV not much bigger than my laptop. The is 1 drawer for all you clothes and absolutely no shelf our counter for your wash kit. The bathroom (including the shower) is inside the bedroom (no walls, only for the tiny toilet). There is no glass in the windows just screens and shutters so the air conditioning is ineffective, the lowest we got the room was 27c. The swimming pool is small so heats up fast and is not refreshing the whole area around the pool is shabby and in desperate need of renovation. It looks like the only thing done was to put a fresh coat of paint right on top of the old paint without any preparation at all. I booked here because it's a Habita group hotel, I have stayed in many and enjoyed them all, this is an embarrassment I simply do not understand why Habita would allow their name on this hotel. If there was a bright spot, it was the people, like the other Habita hotels the staff were friendly and very helpful, but even that cannot overcome this dreadful property.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms. The location of the hotel is not the best, the area seems dangerous. Hotel do not have indications or menus in English, but they are working on it.

perfect view from room
all 6 rooms with 2 beds faced city and beach. NOISE from loud music, boats dogs, roosters , AC, drums and smell form cooking 24 hr . per day. Manager promised to help but never did this. on our days hotel had just few people. We asked 2 mo in advance about not noisy accommodation. This spoiled our stay in Acapulco, were you can injoy Malecon, Botanical garden with jungle trails, butifull city park, sunset cruise, historical houses.

I loved my stay here. Staff were super friendly and went out of their way to provide the best service. The rooms were really comfortable and I loved the decor which provided a relaxing and calming getaway. All the meals were delicious and the menus provided an interesting choice of dishes. The hotel decor, overall, transported you back to its early days, but provided the comfort of today. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

Amazingly friendly
The people at Boca Chica were outstanding. We felt welcomed immediately and the views are stunning. The food is lacking for dinner a bit... but breakfast is wonderful! Not sure I understand the Japanese influenced menu... I wish it was just authentic Mexican recipes from the region using fresh local fish. Ceviche is a winner though. The pool is amazing and the place is just fantastically charming. Make sure you dive off of the boat dock!
