"This was our first time staying in the Temecula Wine Valley. We very much liked the resort and made use of the spa, tasting room, and Vineyard Rose Restaurant. Everything was top-notch. A bonus was the ability to walk to neighboring wineries and the close driving proximity to historical downtown Temecula. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We didn't have bathrobes in our room and the front desk quickly remedied the situation. My only negative comment would be the resort could use some updating. I understand South Coast is staying true to the Tuscan look, but a refresh would make the resort more appealing to all generations. Comment to Expedia: I was provided a receipt for the room from the front desk which showed our room rate was $109.38 less than what I paid Expedia for the two-night stay (this amount was exclusive of the daily resort fee). Can you please explain why there was a price difference? I booked through Expedia to save money not spend more."
